Axe Group continues to grow, adding Marsha Teslik as an Account Manager

Leading insurtech company, Axe Group, is keeping its focus of providing unrivalled customer service by appointing Marsha Teslik as their new Key Account Manager. Marsha has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry, having worked at AIA Australia, BT, and most recently, Integrity Life. She brings a wealth of experience in creating strong commercial partnerships and helping clients identify sales and development opportunities.

“After my time at Integrity, I decided to take a bit of break and consider whether I wanted to stay in the insurance industry or move into something else,” Marsha reveals. “And the opportunity to join Axe came along, which was great because it allows me to stay in insurance but do something a bit different. It’s all about solving the issues that insurers have by way of technology and how they interact with the consumer. And I’m thrilled with my decision. It’s been absolutely seamless, and everyone has been so nice and really welcoming. I’m very excited to be here and see where this goes.”

Marsha will be primarily working with Axe Group’s current clients, including MetLife, Hannover Re, AIA, Resolution Life and others. “I’ll be nurturing those relationships, working with the project managers we have to make our partnerships as strong as possible,” she explains. “I think my experience in the insurance and financial services industry helps me understand what advisors want from technology, where the issues are, and the things that both advisors and customers require from a platform.”

Axe Group’s Sales Manager, Adam Hargreaves, had this to say about the appointment. “We’re delighted to have Marsha onboard. I have no doubt her enthusiasm and knowledge of the sector will enhance our ability to engage deeply with our clients to understand their needs and develop pathways to shared success.”

Marsha believes that Axe Flow, the company’s easily customizable platform for insurers and reinsurers, is the key to success. “If we can get people onto Flow, having that cloud-based and end-to-end solution for insurers, I think that’s a game changer.”

Away from work, Marsha and her husband are enjoying their time together with fur baby Ekko and are also keen renovators. They are currently working on their third house, their biggest yet, which keeps them busy on the weekends. “It allows me to tap into my creative side, so that’s very enjoyable. But I think this house will be the last house that we will sell, and the next house will be our forever home.”

Marsha and her husband also love travel, having completed a gorilla and chimpanzee trek in Africa and a ten-day trek through Borneo.
