Axe Group maintains its focus on client satisfaction by appointing Grant Lovelady as Program Director

With our ongoing emphasis on high quality client service, Axe Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Lovelady as our new Program Director. With over 25 years’ experience in a variety of industries including insurance, financial services, FMCG, and government, Grant brings a deep understanding of performance improvement strategies explored from both the client and business services perspectives.
“What I like about Axe Group is that we’re playing in a bit of a niche market, and we have a very clear and compelling value proposition for our customers. Our client list is really impressive for an Australian organisation and I’m excited to work with those existing ones and help to bring in some more,” explains Grant. “It’s also nice to be part of a relatively small company that’s not dispersed all over the world, so you can really get to know the people and collaborate with everyone.”
“We're in the right place at the right time in the market, offering a SaaS solution, and because we're client facing and we're local, we can deal with real people, real problems, and really work with them to solve their issues. My intention is to take all the things I’ve learnt into Axe Group. That's what attracted me to the position.”
Grant believes his experience as both a client and a supplier throughout his career allows him to understand both sides and be solution and outcome focused. “Sometimes I’m sort of the umpire, sometimes I’m siding with the client, sometimes with the business. It’s all about finding the best solution for everybody,” reveals Grant.
Axe Group’s Chief Revenue Officer Adam Hargreaves, says, “In just a few months, Grant has demonstrated that his understanding of how businesses can, and need to, develop will benefit both Axe Group and our clients. His presence will ensure that clear communication between Axe and our clients remains at the heart of everything we do.”
“I’m excited about what Axe has got in the pipeline,” Grant confides. “We’ve got quite a lot going on, and that’s both got its opportunities and challenges. It’s my job to focus on delivery and by doing that help both Axe Group and our clients to grow.”
Grant lives in Sydney with his family, and loves all outdoor pursuits including swimming, hiking, running, and particularly sailing.
